Driving India's Clean Energy Transition with Biofuels

India's abundant agricultural residue and organic waste present a significant opportunity to produce clean, renewable fuels. At Hindustan Power, we are harnessing these resources to strengthen energy security, reduce dependence on imported fuels and create new opportunities for rural communities.

Building on over two decades of experience in energy infrastructure, we launched our Biofuels business in 2026 with a 100 TPD biomass pellet plant at Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, alongside a pilot Napier grass plantation to develop sustainable feedstock supply chains. Expanding beyond biomass pellets, we are developing Compressed Biogas (CBG) projects under the Government of India's GOBARdhan framework, with plans to build a diversified portfolio spanning Bio-Methanol, E-Methanol, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Green Ammonia.

Our vision is to become one of India's leading biofuels developers, transforming homegrown resources into clean energy while creating lasting value for farmers, communities and the nation.
